School Fitness Classes
Class Size: For our school sessions, we recommend a maximum of 6 students per class to ensure that the instructor can provide adequate attention to each individual. However, if you have larger groups, we can offer multiple sessions to accommodate everyone.
Location: We can deliver sessions on-site at your school, whether in gyms, sports halls, or even outdoor spaces like any playing fields you may have.
Variety of Class Styles: We offer a range of class styles to suit the needs of your students, ensuring the sessions are engaging and aligned with your school’s goals for physical activity and well-being.
Duration: Our sessions typically last around 50 minutes, providing an ideal fit within your students’ daily schedule without interrupting their curriculum.
Equipment: We Provide all the necessary equipment needed, however if your school does have gym facilities this is preferred.
Class Frequency: We offer flexible scheduling, with options for daily, weekly, or monthly sessions, or even one-time events, depending on what works best for your school’s calendar.
Event Preparation: In addition to regular fitness sessions, we can also offer specialised classes to help students prepare for specific events such as charity runs, sports days, or fitness challenges, ensuring they’re motivated and ready to participate.
1-1 Mentoring: We also offer personalised one-to-one sessions for students who may need extra support within school. These sessions combine physical activity with positive guidance, helping students manage stress, improve their mental health, and build confidence. Exercise can be a powerful outlet — and for many students, these focused sessions lead to noticeable improvements in behaviour, focus, and overall wellbeing.
Addressing the Challenges Highlighted in the CSJ Report
Recent findings from the Centre for Social Justice's "Lost Boys" report reveal significant challenges facing young males, including:
Educational underachievement: Boys are consistently outperformed by girls at every educational stage.
Lack of positive male role models: Many boys grow up without strong male figures to guide them.
Mental health struggles: Young men are increasingly vulnerable to mental health issues, including higher suicide rates.
Poor physical health and rising obesity – Boys are more likely to be overweight or obese and less likely to engage in regular physical activity.
At FIT2U, our fitness programs our aim is to tackle these issues head-on by:
Providing structured physical activity that enhances focus and discipline.
Offering mentorship from positive male role models during sessions.
Creating a supportive environment that promotes mental wellbeing through exercise.
Promoting physical fitness as a foundation for long-term health — helping combat inactivity and rising obesity levels through fun, regular movement.
By integrating these elements, we aim to support schools in fostering the development and success of their male students.
